Trends, technology and talent the focus of Utah Business and Economic Forum
Monday, June 25, 2018
The Utah Business and Economic Forum took on a momentous name this year, with a mammoth goal.
This year’s forum, hosted by the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University was dubbed “JuggernaUT.” A juggernaut is a powerful and overwhelming force or institution, and Dean Norman Wright of UVU’s business school explained, “Utah and UVU are teaming up to be an overwhelming force in this state.”
To that end, the forum brought in hard-hitters from local and national organizations to help business leaders and professionals better innovate and adapt to minute-by-minute changes of today’s economy. Attendees could choose from five classes during each of the day’s four breakout sessions, geared toward essential business strategies: megatrends, innovation and strategy, talent management and human resources, community impact, and professional master classes.
